Home of the Chinese Crested Dog and Bengal Cat

Chinese Crested

The Chinese Crested originated in Africa where they were called "African Hairless dogs".   They are now seen in many homes as loving little lap dogs.

The two types of Chinese Crested; Hairless and Powderpuff, may appear to be different breeds. When one becomes more familiar with the breed it is easy to see that they are almost exactly the same, except that the Powderpuff is coated with a double coat of hair.  The hairless variety do vary as to amount of body hair. A true hairless (HL) has no body hair, only a crest, some tail plume, and sparse socks. The hairy hairless (HHL) can have as little as a strip of hair down its back to being nearly covered with a single coat of body hair, some denser than others, with the belly usually bare. Most of the hairless that you see in the show rings today with the heavy lavish crest, plume, and socks are shaved down hairy hairless and must be shaved on a regular basis to maintain this look. Breeding a Hairless to a Hairless, or a Hairless to a Powderpuff, can produce either type. However, breeding a Powderpuff to a Powderpuff will always produce the Powderpuff variety.

The Chinese Crested is non-shedding toy breed averaging 9 to 13 inches at the shoulder. We offer both Powderpuff and Hairless puppies for sale and stud service is available.

Bengal Cats

The Bengal Cat, originated as a hybrid cross between the small Asian Leopard Cat and an exotic looking domestic cat, bringing out the best of both...wildly exotic looking and  gentle fun loving pet.  Today, most Bengals have been pure bred, Bengal to Bengal, for many generations leaving their wild heritage behind.  They now have a completely domestic temperament.  Most Bengals love to play fetch, wear a harness and walk on a leash and exhibit curious playful behavior that provides their owners with entertaining compaionship.

Bengal coat patterns can be either spotted or marbled.  "Rosettes" are leopard - like spots of at least two different colors, typically red centered with black outlining and are highly desirable.

We specialize in breeding the Brown Spotted Tabbies with the leopard pattern     Tri-colored rosettes on a golden glittered pelt.  We also breed silvers with black outlined rosettes and Mink (aqua eyes) and Lynx (blue eyed) snows. We occasionally offer kittens in the marbled pattern. Please check out our kittens on the Available Bengal kittens page.
